Design And Implementation Of Automatically Grading Fusion Storage For Client Of Optical Disc Library

With the rapid development of technology, the amount of data grows exponentially along with the deepening of information, which will inevitably have higher requirements for storage for safety and durability. Blu-ray Disc characterized by high reliability and high capacity, together with the high density optical disk library apparatus, has become an excellent choice for cold massive data backup.In order to make the optical disk library integrated into the user's business system, this paper presents a method to automatically grade to converged storage, that is without modifying the existing storage system traffic path case, the optical disk library system is added to the business system. To accomplish this function, we have set four modules, files tree regeneration module, file write read redirection module, data write speed control module, replacement control module local disk space for files. Firstly, rebuild the file directory tree by traversing the optical disk library and the user's local disk. Then, access the file by the redirecting module. In order to improve the efficiency of access, the local disk will act as cache of optical disk library. In order to improve the hit rate, file as the unit of the system is eliminated by the LRU algorithm. To get enough space, the file will be eliminated as the file size can be documented in the re-generated directory tree. In the situation of insufficient space of local disk, when user putting a file, data write speed control module will control the speed to get enough time to deal with the problem of lack of space.Based on the testing experiments and analysis of the data, the system can run correctly and complete the file for writing and reading. When there is insufficient for local disk space, it be able to control the speed by writing speed control module, and then eliminated appropriate file through the LRU algorithm.
