In our life, the development of each industry and the transportation industry has a close relationship, and the development of transport equipment is related to the future of the entire transport industry. The improvement of people's living standards makes the people have a higher demand for the transport equipment,one of which is security.For transportation equipment, it is very important to realize the data synchronization and the real-time monitoring of transportation equipment by using network and communication technology. This can not only lets users know the equipment running status information more intuitively toreduce security risks and improve the safety of transport equipment, also provides important tools for remote after-sales service and reduces the cost of after-sales service. Then this measure reduces the cost of after-sales service and provides multi-sample real-time status data for equipment manufacturers at the same time. According to the actual needs of users, the manufacturing enterprises can continuously improve and upgrade products.This thesis focuses on the realization of remote monitoring system for transportation equipment. The monitoring system is real-time remote monitoring for vehicles, ships, locomotives and other transportation equipment, including running status of transportation equipment, data flow, location and so on. It is able to achieve specific remote control function according to user requirements.The monitoring system for transportation equipment is composed of three parts which are data terminal, server communication system and the monitoring center. Data terminal module is responsible for acquisiting and transmissing the data of the equipment. In the monitoring system, data terminal uses the ARM embedded processor MC9S08DZ60 chip as the core processor,and each circuit module is designed. At the same time,communication protocol and software of the data terminal are designed to realize the function of communication and data processing of the data terminal.In the server,communication system is mainly responsible for receiving, analyzing and sending the data,which is a combination of MFC framework, windows socket, IOCP, WCF and other technologies.When the data sent by the data terminal through the GPRS network reaches the remote server, the program of MFC in the server receives and analyzes the data, then transmiting the data to the WCF service(including WCF1 and WCF2). The WCF1 server will store the data to the database. At the same time, the part of data is transmited to theWCF2 server by the WCF1 server. The data are directly displayed to the user terminal by WCF2 server(web pages, the monitoring center). It can reduce the end user of the database access.The monitoring center is the ultimate user oriented, which combines ASP. Net SignalR controls and MVC mode,providing the user with a graphical, dynamic bidirectional program interface. According to their own authority,administrators can exercise their rights.After testing, the system can monitor the running status and other information of transport equipment. Finally, the information can be displayed to the user in real time through the Web page.
