| Nowadays PC104 product test methods lack systematic and testing procedures are tedious,complicated and limited in spite of rich product resources based on compacted ISA.Normally an extension board is stacked on the Industrial motherboard,and then reading and writing operations are carried out on the extension board.If the expansion board function is normal,ISA bus standard is achieved.However,this test method has many disadvantages in that one incorrectly setting will impact the result of the test.In order to test ISA bus on Industrial motherboard efficiently and conveniently and further lighten the load of testing on product testers,it is urgent to build a special test platform which has become one of research focuses.This paper is intended to design a hardware platform on which the Industrial motherboard is stacked.Concrete study content is as follows: to study the basic principle of the ISA bus work,the ISA bus clock cycles so as to learn how to operate the ISA bus;to make use of C language to write directly a software to read and write the target address of the ISA bus under DOS;to study logical chip and logical writing principle so as to learn how to write logic and how to make use of hardware to describe language;to design and write a logic to read and write the data within the destination address of the ISA bus and make logic judgment and output test results;to study the design principle of hardware circuit and signal integrity so as to learn how to design hardware circuit and manufacture a circuit board in which logic chips are connected with peripheral control and displayed circuit to form a complete set of circuit system;to put DOS system with software,tested Industrial motherboard,written logic and circuit board together to form a complete set of test platform to fulfill the test task.This platform is designed to test ISA bus system on the tested Industrial motherboard card systematically and conveniently and also it can be applied to all Industrial motherboard products of PC104 bus structure.This platform can implement the Debug diagnosis,20-bit data line test and 16-bit address line test. |
