Sensor nodes distributed in the monitoring area collect business data and feed back to the manager through the Wireless Sensor Network(WSN).If there is no geographical location information,it will be futile, because the manager can not know the specific location that needs to be taken.Excellent localization algorithm can reduce the node location error and reduce the network energy consumption.Range-free positioning is not only cost-saving,but also satisfies the user's requirement of positioning accuracy, and becomes one of the research and application hotspots. This article selects the anchor circle algorithm with simple scenes and the widely used distance vector-hop algorithm(DV-HOP)to analyze the errors and propose the improved strategies. The former is improved by using the signal strength preferred neighbor anchor nodes in combination with the minimum covering circle, and the latter is improved by using the ratio of the signal strength to the minimum average signal strength of the nodes. The simulation results show that the improved algorithm can reduce the average positioning error and the error value of each unknown node when the communication radius changes and the number of anchor nodes change. The error distribution of most unknown nodes is found to be stable in the low error interval when the error value of each unknown node is counted.
