The sensor technology has received significant attention,because of its outstanding advantages such as high sensitivity,high detection accuracy,label-free,no damage to the measurem etc.In the conventional SPR sensor,the noble metal,such as gold and silver,is usually used in the metal layer.the semiconductor oxide of indium tin oxide(ITO)characteristics of the dielectric constant is also complexed,so many researchers began to study whether indium tin oxide can replace noble metal to inspire surface plasma,and how to use indium tin oxide to inspire surface plasmon resonance has become a hot research topic.A self-referenced surface plasmon resonance sensor based on Au/ITO nanocomposite material is designed in this paper,which adopts Au/ITO composite instead of the conventional metal material.It provides a theoretical basis and some design ideas for a new generation of surface plasma resonance sensor.the sensing characteristics of the sensor are studied through Matlab software and Comsol software.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,the development of surface plasmon resonance sensor is introduced.And the theories of surface plasmon resonance are studied which contains the basis of the theory,metal film theory and transfer matrix method,modulation,excitation mode,excitation conditions and the main performance of the sensor.The finite element method is used to be a calculation method of numerical simulation.Secondly,the influence of the prism material,Au and Au/ITO nanocomposites to the polarized light and the surface plasmaon the wave vector matching is analyzed.In the reference sensor system,the influence of the incident angle,thickness of nanomaterial layer,the sensing of refractive index and the performance index of doping ratio of Au/ITO nanocomposite is specifically analyzed,and the structure parameters are optimized,It has a guiding significance for the design and application of surface plasmon resonance sensor.Finally,temperature and concentration on the influence of refractive index is analyzed,using the self reference sensor system to detect the glycol solution refractive index change,fitting wavelength of peak 1 and the refractive index of solution,accordingto the relation between relationship of refractive index and concentration,the relation of the wavelength in resonance peak1 and the concentration of solution can be concluded.
