Storage as an important link in logistics play an important role in the process of logistics, but along with the increase in orders, homework is frequent, warehouse management is faced with great challenge. How to improve the efficiency of warehouse management, has become the current enterprise pay more and more attention to the problem. For warehouse slotting optimization, to reduce logistics costs, improve working efficiency, is one of the ways to improve the efficiency of storage.Z company is a specialized company provide the rear yard dock and emergency places, storage area operation is a main business of the company. Based on Z company warehouse area as the research object, through expert interview, questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation of carding on the current situation of Z company, there are goods picking efficiency is low, the inventory of library work is difficult, shelves prone to overthrow and imperfect information system. On this basis, the food bank in Z company as the research object, the EIQ- ABC taxonomy will food bank is divided into ABC three kinds of goods, goods in class AB as the ultimate research object, established the loading and unloading efficiency, in order to improve the stability of their shelf life and convenient to tally as the goal of a multi-objective optimization model would be. Secondly, using the weight coefficient method, the multi-objective optimization model into single objective optimization model, and according to the analytic hierarchy process(ahp) to get weight coefficient values. At last, through design such as the coding method, fitness function of genetic algorithm to solve the single objective optimization model, and uses the Matlab,Compared with the actual goods storage scheme, the optimized scheme of loading and unloading efficiency, convenient shelf stability, tally in this a few of the single target on the target are improved largely. The experimental results show that the method is effective to optimize the position of Z company layout.In this paper, some of the results have been adopted by the Z company and apply to the actual position in the layout, to a certain extent, improve the efficiency of the company warehouse area operation, reduce the company operating costs.
