Warehouse layout optimization includes warehouses Ribbon layout optimization andSlotting Optimization. Warehouse layout optimization can solve the problem, whichtraditional warehouse layout brought, wasting storage space and low efficiency of warehouse.Ribbon layout optimization is about the most reasonable position of the various functionalareas in order to get maximize benefits; Storage slotting optimization is to improve warehousespace utilization rate and efficiency of a kind of potential method.The main work of this paper is to analyze and compare a variety of ways to optimizewarehouse layout, and propose micro genetic algorithm optimization. Regard functional arealayout and cargo distribution of JH comprehensive warehouse company as an example, andput the micro-genetic algorithm into the problems that Ribbon irrational and the unscientificallocation of Cargo space, so as to verify the feasibility and practicability of the algorithm.First, introducing the basic theory of storage layout and including warehouses Ribbonlayout optimization and Slotting Optimization. Focus on introducing the common method ofstorage layout optimization, and determine the micro genetic algorithm as the primary methodby comparing of this article. For example, Slotting Optimization principles, model, ideas.Second, the analysis of optimization of JH Company warehouse layout. Analyzing thecurrent situation of JH Company warehouse layout, it decides to study the ribbon layout andSlotting Optimization problems. By comparing different Slotting Optimization Model, selectthe appropriate Slotting Optimization models.At the ribbon layout optimization, get two cases by putting SLP law and the microgenetic algorithm. Micro genetic algorithm solves the problems of functional areas layout. InSlotting optimization, first select JH company integrated cargo area of a warehouse asSlotting Optimization of the object, and shipping location optimization model and detailedanalysis, and then getting the better case by comparing the two cases which got by putting theMGA-BLX and genetic algorithms into it, which approach is the better.Finally, realize the micro-genetic algorithm for solving the model of Ribbon layoutOptimization and Slotting Optimization. The paper use MATLAB language programming,and does the simulation experiments. At last, verify the practicality and feasibility of microGA, by using MATLAB to simulation analysis for it and analyzing the data which comesfrom the before and after Slotting Optimization. A new way of thinking is provided to solvethe way of dynamic slotting optimization warehousing center for the company’s. The kind ofoperation summed up is simple, fast, practical and feasible for solving the slottingoptimization.
