In the process of aircraft assembly, a large number and a great variety of tools are often used. There are nearly 40 thousand kinds of assembly tools in the assembly plant of a large aircraft manufacturing enterprise in China, of which about 12 thousand are used frequently, and about 25 thousand are used infrequently. Here are some of the phenomena such as the actual investigation found that workers often consume a lot of time on borrow and return of tools , lost of tools without cause, high intensity work of administrators,and "Tripartite inventory" can not effectively implemented, which it brings great challenge to the tool management of enterprise, there was even a major accident caused by aircraft assembly tool is left inside the fuselage of human error, led to irreversible consequences.At the same time, some assembly tools are seldom used, and some are overused even leads to scrap, which is the consequence of "Attach importance to equipment with despising management". Therefore, in order to realize the digital,automatic and intelligent assembly process of aircraft, the first thing to solve is the management confusion of assembly tools.The cabinet for storing tools plays an important part. How to improve the assembly efficiency of workers, give them convenient and comfortable working conditions, and achieve lean management of enterprises is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the rapid development of the Internet of things technology, this paper designs and implements a set of intelligent tool management system on the basis of RFID technology.This paper describes the application background, technical principle, overall framework design, the selection of software and hardware and implementation process of the intelligent tool management system.The hardware part includes a microcontroller,electronic lock and RFID reader and the selection of STM32 MCU minimum system circuit, lock drive circuit, lock status detection circuit, LED double color indicating lamp driving circuit, buzzer driving circuit and communication circuit design.The software part includes the design of system program and communication protocol, at the same time, including the design of PC application software, which uses cross platform QT language, database using SQLite, develops in the Windows environment.The main functions are divided into basic information maintenance, tool borrow and return management, tool inventory management, cabinet door control and status monitoring,information inquiry, etc., and finally design the system's important use process.The test environment for system is completed, with important use process in actual use, in the laboratory environment, carried out a detailed test on the various hardware modules and software modules, the results show that the system can achieve the desired effect.Intelligent tool management system can also be applied to other production fields where tools are used more frequent or higher requirements for tool management. It has certain application value in enginerring.
