Since the new century,computer communication technology has changed the original way of people's life.With the data transmission rate of the computer and its peripherals increasing,modern high-speed interface has quickly replaced the traditional information transmission way and became the first-choice information carrier for social development.However,with more demands for the speed and kinds of interfaces,IEEE 1394 b interface was proposed and continuously developed,which has been widely applied in many fields,such as network interconnection,hardware peripherals and aerospace fields,etc.First of all,the first appearance and present development state of this interface were introduced and a comparison was made between it and USB,etc.Also,the performance advantage of it was discussed in detail.Moreover,background and significance of this paper was introduced.Then,the overall structure and design plan of this system for IEEE 1394 b data transmitting and receiving which consists of detectors' signal modulating board,digital board,So C FPGA controlling board and IEEE 1394 interface board were introduced.The overall layout and functions of detectors' signal modulating board were introduced.How to transform the analog signals of detectors into digital ones and how to collect the asynchronous commands from Unmanned aerial vehicle and how to integrate detectors' data,asynchronous commands and the temperature sensors' data into one data frame in digital board were introduced.In addition,the layout and resource composition of So C FPGA development board were introduced and the system advantage and inner structure of it were also introduced.At last,the design plan of IEEE 1394 b interface board was proposed and some details about node and module system of 1394 b interface,the structure of 1394 b protocol,data transmission modes,the kinds of 1394 b data package were also introduced.Then,the hardware and software design plan of So C FPGA core controlling board which are composed of the hardware and software development process based on So C FPGA,hardware architecture of the system we designed were introduced.The plan that board write and read the data of peripherals was also introduced.Then,the hardware and software design plan of IEEE 1394 b interface board which consist of the methods of ethernet chip's configuration,the ways of the configuration scheme of Power PC's network interface,the plan of implementing the configuration of multitasking operating system,the plan of implementing multitasking communication function,the interrupt management mechanism of Vx Works and the plan of implementing the topology of the 1394 link layer and physical layer were introduced.Finally,functions of transmitting and receiving data of this system we designed and the validity and reliability of data were testified.
