Communications is developing rapidly in recent years;it greatly enriched and facilitated people's daily lives.The development of the communications not only provides convenience to people's lives,but also causes a large number of energy consumption and has a great waste of energy issues.Today's network is originally designed to ensure the quality of service so that the network is designed to be redundant and excessive provided.These two basic principles can help improve the quality of the service of the network as well as to ensure the reliability of the network,but on the other hand it results in a great deal of energy waste.This paper is to study how we can reduce the energy consumption of the network and improve the utilization of green energy,reduce traditional energy consumption.This paper firstly analyzes the research background,describes the significance of the subject,and described the full text of the work and structure of the arrangement.This paper proposes an energy-saving solution for the link on the basis of the existing network technology.This mechanism can dynamically adjust the network topology based on the state of the network and reduce network energy consumption under the premise of ensuring network quality of service.Simulation results show that this link sleeping mechanism can largely reduce network energy consumption compared with the existing link sleeping mechanism,and the proposed link sleeping mechanism can have a better quality of service.Finally,this paper proposes link sleeping mechanisms of green network.These link sleeping mechanisms fully take into account the advantages of green energy,such as reusable.These link sleeping mechanisms divide the network into two scenarios:peak and off-peak.For different scenarios,different sleep mechanism designed,So as to improve the utilization of green energy,reducing the consumption of traditional energy.The simulation results show that the link sleep mechanisms can improve the utilization of green energy very well.
