The vigorous development of the wireless mobile communication network has brought great problems to the network spectrum resources and energy consumption while continuously meeting the increasing traffic demands of the mobile users. With the improvement of human environmental awareness and economic consciousness, the efficient use of energy will become one of the urgent problems to be solved in the information and communication industry. Meanwhile, device-to-device(D2D), as a new direct communication technology between terminal devices, is an important means to improve spectrum efficiency, system throughput and energy efficiency in mobile communication field. The research subject of this paper is based on green energy-saving mechanisms for D2D communication.Firstly, this paper illustrates the research background and significance, and generalizes the main research content and structure arrangement of the full text. Based on the investigation on the green energy-saving technology in industry and academia at home and abroad, the paper focuses on the energy-saving technology for data forwarding in D2D communication network and makes innovations and improvements on the basis of existing researches. Thereby, the base station sleeping algorithm in D2D communication scenario and the energy-efficient multi-hop D2D data forwarding scheme are proposed. In view of the advantages of D2D communication and the problems of coverage insufficiency and interference control, the energy-saving algorithm called Greedy Base Station Sleeping is proposed, based on clustering for device-to-device multicast communication. At first, the energy utility function to evaluate energy consumption of the implementation scenario is derived. In addition,a novel user association scheme is developed for the first time to solve the communication problem of users in sleep cells, in which the D2D clusters associate to the selected inter-CH (Cluster Head) in neighbor cells according to location information and residual energy, namely forming a merger cluster.Extensive simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm achieves a good balance between energy saving and QoS (Quality of Service),reducing efficiently energy consumption and transmission delay. At the same time, an energy-efficient multi-hop D2D data forwarding algorithm is proposed, which considers the mutual interference between the cellular network and the D2D users in a single cell. Firstly, the system model is introduced, including the network model and candidate multiplexing channel model. In order to improve the energy efficiency of the whole network, the energy utility function is constructed, which optimizes both the routing performance of the current node to the next-hop relay node and the average hop count. Then, the multi-hop D2D data forwarding algorithm called Pairing-inspired Dijkstra is proposed, which selects the multiplexed cellular network channel for each hop link by the KM dichotomy matching algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performances in improving the energy efficiency of the system and reducing the transmission delay.
