The rapid development of information technology makes us step into the digital information era, more and more creative achievements are stored and transmitted by digital model nowadays. Computer network facilitates the propaganda and transformation of digital works, and promotes the production and dissemination of new media content.Because digital works are easy to copy, modify and spread, it is easy to produce piracy and infringement issues. Therefore, for copyright owners of digital works, copyright protection and security transactions are imminent.Digital rights management (DRM) provides an effective technical method for the safe distribution and use of digital works. However, the traditional copyright protection system still has some limitations,including the weak prevention of illegal user tort, the digital copyright transaction security loopholes, lack of fine-grained permissions management, etc. In this paper, we made a deep research and analysis on DRM technology and relevant theory. Afterwards, a new digital copyright protection and secure transaction system was designed and implemented based on the problems of existing DRM system. The system provides digital copyright protection and security trading assets by a variety of techniques such as digital encryption, identity authentication and access control, etc. The main works are as follows:(1) The DRM technology was studied and analyzed. The main research achievements about domestic and foreign on DRM as well as their problems were described. Meanwhile, the relevant security and DRM technologies were introduced.(2) A new digital copyright protection and secure transaction model was purposed which provides copyright protection for each stage of digital assets such as the stage of creation, distribution, transmission,authorization and using. Meanwhile, a new digital copyright protection and secure transaction protocol was purposed which effectively prevents the illegal user's infringement behavior and provides a safe trading strategy and regulates the legitimate use of digital content by authorized users.(3) A digital asset copyright protection and secure transaction system was designed and implemented. The system achieves service of flexible copyright protection and secure transaction integrated the function of safety engine management, key management, content management, copy right control, domain management and DRM terminal management through the access control and identity authentication mechanism.(4) The function and performance of system was evaluated by the results of several experiments. The validity of the system was demonstrated and the feasibility and practicability of the model was proved either.
