Design And Implementation Of Mobile Follow-Up Clinic Service Supporting System

Recently,with the aggravating trend of aging population and explosion in healthcare cost,our public health system has been facing great challenges due to difficulty in getting medical service.However,there isn't a sound treating and follow-up clinic system available yet,our doctor cannot track patient's rehabilitation constantly and effectively once they get out of hospital,thus cannot achieve comprehensive medical management.As a blooming medical pattern,mobile follow-up clinic applications have great advantages in solving medical problems such as regional misdistribution of high-quality medical resources and cumbersome chronic disease management.People run the client on their computers and phones,and the server connects and communicates with the client,providing backend service for them.Based on the research for the public health needs,we designed and implemented a mobile follow-up clinic service supporting system in this paper in order to provide service support for the client of mobile follow-up clinic application.The main work of this paper can be shown as follows.Firstly,we give the background and main content of this research,then we summarize the demand of doctors and patients from two dimensions including functional and non-functional requirements.In the following,we show the whole architecture design of the system,the communicating protocol between the system and the client and the design of its inner modules using graphs and tables.Then the implementation of main functional modules is detailed described based on web server and database management technology.Meanwhile,the whole system is tested to verify the performance targets.Finally,we summarize the research's work and give the future research direction.The mobile follow-up clinic system gathers doctors' profiles and patients' medical records for establishing an electronic medical database.It provides functional APIs for mobile applications to communicate with the backend database server,implementing functions including medical records management,user management,service management,follow-up plan and task.As a convenient and effective platform,the system achieves one-stop medical treatment and comprehensive medical service for patients and doctors.It certainly has a quite broad application prospect.
