With rapid development of the Internet age,big data,video on demand,cloud computing technology emerging in endlessly,the communication network for bandwidth demand multiplication,and access network face unprecedented pressure.As having super wide transmission bandwidth,optical fiber access has become the mainstream in the access network technology.While Time and Wavelength Division Multiplexing-Passive Optical Networks(TWDM-PON)is a smooth upgrade of EPON and GPON,it has become the preferred solution for next generation access network technology.With expanding of the various communication business,and increasing of the local traffic,it can greatly save the downlink bandwidth,and prevent the network congestion when solving the local Internet communications in TWDM-PON.It is of great importance in the performance of network,and it has a broad development prospects.This thesis presented a novel TWDM-PON architecture with adding circulator,OBPF and HNLF in ODN.Based the scheme,signals from one ONU generated new frequencies which carny local service message to broadcast to other ONUs by using FWM effect of HNLF.We verified this scheme by simulation.Meanwhile,this thesis investigated a test platform for 40Gb/s optical module,and researched the main technology and the key parameters.The thesis designed and realized the hardware design and software control system,and this system provided the basic test environment for optical module evaluation.It is conductive to breakthrough the bottleneck of key components in our country to research the structure characteristics of optical module and learn the core evaluation.
