Passive Optical Network(PON)is one of the promising technical solutions for fixed broadband access environments.Depending on the mutiple access scheme,PON can be divided into two categories including TDM-PON and WDM-PON.Considering the wide deployment of TDM-PON currently,TWDM-PON is considered as the best choice during the transitionary period.TWDM-PON contains both the advantages of TDM-PON and WDM-PON,which makes it a good choice for help lengthen the life cycle of the current systems.This thesis researches on the system architecture and the relative dynamic wavelength bandwidth allocation algorithm.Based on analysis of typical application scene,an improvement scheme of architecture and motified algorithm are proposed.The performance of the improved strategy is vertified by theoretical analysis and simulation experiment.This thesis firstly givesa brief introduction of principle and technical characteristic in PON.The system architecture and working principle of TWDM-PON are analyzed and discussed in detail.Based on the analysis of typical application scene for hybrid business and home building accessing,an improved TWDM-PON system architecture along with a relevant improved DWBA algorithm is proposed,which can support the resource sharing of different types of ONU group.When an ONU has service requirement exceeding default bandwidth limit,OLT can dynamically switch the upstream wavelength for the ONU in order to entirely make use of the overall resource of the system.Theoretical analysis and simulation experiment show that the performance of latency has an obvious improvement in this system.When it comes to the anti-damage performance,this scheme can also support the protection handover for adjacent ONU group without affecting the traffic flow of the original group.
