With the development and wide application of complex information system in military field and civil field,design of the display interface of complex information system has to achieve higher level.The interface evaluation of complex information system can be used to guide the improvement of the interface design of complex information system,which can reduce the workload and improve the performance of users.This paper studies the existing usability evaluation methods,analyzes the interface complexity and cognitive complexity.Besides,the complexity model and the usability evaluation index system of complex information interface are determined.Finally,the usability evaluation resource database is designed and implemented.The main work has the following aspects:1.Through expert interviews and user research to determine the main characteristics of the impact on the complex interface,using the analytic hierarchy process to assess the system complexity of the model,and determine the weight of each factor in the model.2.Based on the complexity model to extract more than ten usability indicators,enrich the connotation of each index,develop appropriate assessment methods,and finally build a complex information system usibility index system.3.Applied a group of usibility index of complex information system to to assess four kinds of the design schemes based on E-Prime behavior test system,Tobii eye tracker and NASA-TLX volume table to record reaction time,correct rate and workload indicators.Besides,further improved the design scheme based on the conclusions of the assessment.4.According to the actual evaluation work of usage scenarios and requirement to design and develop the usibility assessment resource library,including information architecture,page layout and interactive logic,and further improve the application value of the research results.
