In environmental monitoring and wild ruins conservation,we need to collect and transmit monitoring data to the server.Multimode wireless gateway is a multi-function equipment with the ability of collecting data,uploading data and processing data in the wild environment.This device can choose communication interfaces adaptively according to different wild environment.In this device,satellite communication interface has defects like high cost,low bandwidth,short maximum transmission unit and unstable signal.As a result,the efficiency of satellite data transmission is very low.A variety of data can not have fair service time.A lot of data is lost and disrupted in communication.Therefore,a effective way to schedule data,compress data and send data is of great value.Through deep analysis of the performance bottlenecks and functional requirements of satellite transmission in multimode wireless gateway,we design function modules like queue management,communication control and compression in this system.After considering the frequency and the length of data,we implement the queue mechanism based on dynamic priority,discard algorithm based on average length and the LZW compression scheme based on difference in this dissertation.Our system can improve the transmission efficiency and stability of the multimode wireless gateway.Through experiment,the queue algorithm can guarantee the fairness of the data sending time and efficiently control of space occupation.The compression scheme can effectively reduce the amount of sending data to improve the transmission efficiency.
