With the popularization of broadband network, a lot of enterprises can adopt many ways to surf the Internet, which include telephone wire dialing, ADSL network, wireless network, etc. In some places far away from city, perhaps because these enterprises and institutions can only use ADSL network, wireless network, even will use telephone wire to surf the Internet. In order to improve the bandwidth and avoid the whole network being cut off when a single link fail, these enterprises and institutions will often use two or more links. However, even if many links are used, many enterprises and institutions don't make full use of them, the speed doesn't increase very much as it should be. This is because these links have different broadband distribution, one group of people use the first link, another group of people use the second link. As a result, perhaps one of theses two links is busy and the other links is very idle. Undoubtedly, it means the tremendous waste of resources that a number of links are not well proportioned. Therefore many enterprises have adopted Multilink-PPP technology. The goal of multilink operation is to join the links together into an aggregate link(bundle). The bandwidth of the bundle is the sum of all links' bandwidth. Another goal of multilink operation is to make the other link automatically maintenance normal data transmissions when one physical link is bad, which avoid that the failure of one single link result in entire network can not work.In the dissertation, the disadvantage of the Round-Robin algorithm is indicated, and the emphases of the dissertation is to study and discuss two strategies: one is the Weighted Round-Robin, the other is the Try-Best Algorithm, which comparing to the Round-Robin, can improve the bandwidth of bundle more when each link has different bandwidth.
