With the rapid development of mobile communication and Internet,users' requirements on the quality of communication service are getting higher and higher.The traditional 2/3G services could not meet the increasing demands,so it is logical to launch the 4G services.However,2/3G network and services have been very mature,if to deploy the LTE network blindly might result in a waste of resources.What's more,there are still many unsettled technical problems in the early stages of LTE deployment.Therefore,current carriers generally adopt multiple access network environment in which 2/3/4G networks would be used together.Under this background,it is particularly important to ensure the voice call continuity in multiple network environment.Through the detailed investigation of the existing solutions of voice over LTE,the disadvantages of the existing solutions are analyzed and the corresponding enhanced solution is brought forward in this paper.The optimization and improvement of the handover process are involved which solves the problem of long delay of handover to enhance the user experience of the voice call continuity.Firstly,the VoLTE technologies used in the current networks is investigated in this paper.By focusing on the analysis of the CSFB(Circuit Switch Fall Back)solution and SRVCC(Single Radio Voice Call Continuity)solution and comparing with the four possible solutions of VoLTE in detail,the technology roadmap of SRVCC solution is decided.Secondly,the disadvantages of SRVCC solution are handled by the improvement and the optimization of the handover process and then the eSRVCC(Enhanced Single Radio Voice Call Continuity)solution is put forward which solves the problem of the handover delay.Finally,the eSRVCC solution is estimated from technical proposal,test data,application services and any other parts so that the validity and the feasibility of the solution are proved.
