With the popularity of desktop 3D printers, the demand for 3D modeling is also increasing. The forward modeling method based on modeling software has high technology, the design model takes a long time, and it mainly aims at the design of mechanical components, so it is difficult to build complex and arbitrary shape objects. In this paper, we adopt reverse modeling method, and use 3D reconstruction based on multi view instead of expensive 3D scanning device, which can be convenient and fast to model the very complex actual object. Further through the data format conversion and slicing, you can print 3D. In this paper, the 3D reconstruction based on multi view and subsequent data format conversion and slicing technology are systematically studied. The main contributions and contributions of this dissertation include:To achieve a set of shots from video to the entire process of 3D printing, mainly including the definition of video detection and key frame selection, 3D reconstruction and multi view transformation, from PLY to STL point cloud triangulation data format based on the four steps of slicing. Various algorithms involved in the process are implemented, including image sharpness detection algorithm based on average gradient method, image matching algorithm based on matching feature points, PMVS 3D reconstruction algorithm and so on. Based on the above process, as long as shooting a video around the actual object, we can reconstruct the three-dimensional model of the object, and convert to generate slice data for 3D printing.For 3D reconstruction is incomplete due to cavitation, through voxel visualization analysis of the hole positioning, further proposes a method of adding auxiliary picture to build the best camera network, this method firstly estimates the coordinates of the location where the image to add, and then find the location of the nearest distance image is added to the reconstruction of the sequence in the video sequence, for reconstruction and repair of the model.According to the existing PLY file into the STL file after the error, using the method of minimum angle repair to repair the empty empty. When the empty space is polygon,the ring angle calculation of each vertex outside, find the minimum angle, generate related patches, so the cycle until the hole is divided into composed entirely of triangle polygon.The hierarchical slicing algorithm based on geometric topological information and hierarchical slicing algorithm based on triangular patch position information are analyzed,and an improved algorithm is put forward according to the advantages of the two algorithms. First, the Z value is sorted, and then the topological relation between the triangles is being sliced, and then slice, slice the line after the orderly, and automatically form a complete contour line. Experimental results show that the slicing time of the improved algorithm is much less than that of the current mainstream slicing algorithm,Cura slicing time.In this paper, video shooting, 3D modeling and printing for many objects have been achieved, and the feasibility and stability of the whole process and algorithm have been proved. With the combination of multi view 3D reconstruction and 3D printing, it has a broad application prospect in many aspects such as daily life model making, building model printing, medical skeleton construction, 3D portrait printing, and so on.
