Due to the large population base of our nation,patient size of major medical conditions is huge.Every patient would like to receive the best care and be seen by the top physicians in the field,which triggers a systematic and social problem: it's extremely difficult to make an appointment with the medical experts.The thesis of this dissertation brings the concept of specific appointment,at the same time targeting the goals of utilizing existing resources,rebuilding patient-physician trust and relationship,allocating medical resources reasonably to avoid waste,via optimizing the design of online appointment system.Online medical appointment system is a fused product of fast-developing internet and traditional in-person appointment method.The purpose is to resolve the issue,and ease the pressure of patients not able to make an appointment and see the doctor.This paper focus on designing online medical system based on user experience.In the aspect of system functionality,it improves the efficiency of patient's office visit,optimizes the matching between patients and doctor,via the design concept of matching expected values and select-filter method.In the aspect of user interface,the system is designed in a more easy-using and friendly way by reducing process in the appointment system,which results in clear and accurate information transfer,increases the flexibility of appointment-making process,and prevents any delay caused by waiting in line for a non-matching expert.The goals of optimizing the design of online appointment system are to integrate available physicians in both public and private clinics,allocating medical resources to best serve the patients in a convenient and fair manner.
