The health status of the cable surface is closely related to the service life of the cable.For effective detection of the cable surface is an important part of the bridge maintenance work.The traditional manual inspection method is of low efficiency,high cost,and can bring larger potential safety hazard to personnel.Therefore,the use of the cable climbing robot with image sensor acquisition cable surface image became one of current hot research topic.In this article,through analyzing the source of the topic and the research status at home and abroad,this paper proposes a cable surface image acquisition scheme based on embedded Linux technology,and completed the design and validation of the scheme.The scheme of the design is divided into two parts:image acquisition terminal,image receiving terminal.image acquisition terminal side mounted on the robot,While the cable climbing robot climbing the cable,image acquisition terminal acquires the cable surface image section by section and transmits to the image receving terminal?In this paper,the main work done is as follows:1?According to the requirements of the subject background and design,and puts forward the cable surface image acquisition system based on embedded Linux design scheme.The scheme consists of image acquisition terminal and image receive terminal,and through the wireless connect each other.2?According to the design scheme to build the hardware platform of terminal and image receive terminal,and the development envirornment.Image acquisition terminal comprised JZ2440 V2 development board,three USB camera,NRF24L01P module,etc;Image receive terminal comprised raspberriesPi,10.1-inch LCD display,NRF24L01P module,etc.3?In the process of software design,studied the Linux character device driver framework,the use of asynchronous notification,interrupt and polling mechanism completed NRF24L01P and EL817 module driver design.Through V4L2 interface technology,using USB camera to achieve image acquisition,and use the JPEG image compression algorithm.Through studied the characteristics of NRF24L01P interference,the methods of image transmission protocol and frequency hopping system has been designed,using to improve the efficiency of image transmission.4?A friendly image receive terminal is designed by using QT platform.And through the study of the camera calibration principle,the use of OPENCV realized the calibration of cameras and wide-angle distortion correction.5?the system has been tested indoor and outdoor.The test results show that the system can achieve image acquisition,and use the wireless way to transmit images to the receiver of the image,the image is clear,no significant distortion,achieve the desired goal.
