With the development of video codec technology, computer multimedia technology, computer networks and communication technologies, digital signal processing technology, embedded systems are widely used in various areas of daily life, and brought rapid changes and economic benefits. Video surveillance products now from analog technology to digital, network-oriented direction, and in scientific research, industrial and agricultural production, transportation, resources, remote sensing, medical and health, space exploration, aviation, exploration, home life, the application of the fields And more extensive.In this paper, I choose the wireless network card model.The system's characteristic is flexible assembly, fast moving, monitoring, and so on.I set up a simple implementation of embedded wireless real-time monitoring system, the system realize the digital collection of the true sense, wireless transmission of characteristics. This deployment can be applied to personal home deployment of security, residential arrangements of security, local area network of forest fire control, remote anti-theft technology for vehicle, etc.This thesis work is mainly based on ARM9 embedded development board series of platforms, and hardware to Samsung S3C2410 processor based on the ARM920T core. Real-time operating system-Linux acted an intermediary connection, USB device as a hardware device interface. Thesis is to design an embedded development board working platform, Linux operating system migration implementation, USB camera driver design and implementation, USB wireless network card driver design and implementation, Equip video server and complete the video image acquisition and transmission, in the PC browser to achieve easy Images collected.Currently this work has been completed.Need for cost savings.The system is running slow. Use Wireless LAN to achieve embedded wireless image transmission run smooth.
