With the improvement of microwave integrated circuit technology,millimeter-wave radar has entered people's daily life,such as safety protection,active safety and intelligent traffic monitoring.This paper makes a detailed analysis and research about signal processing algorithm of radar system,and implements complete radar systems based on FPGA.The main research achievements are as follows:Firstly,this paper studies the measuring principle about velocity and distance of linear frequency modulation continuous wave radar,also including signal accumulation and CFAR detection algorithm.Secondly,for the characteristics of the Fast Fourier algorithm in radar signal processing,we study the parallel structure of ASIP to speed up the process.Thirdly,the work system of radar is determined,working parameters are designed for performance requirements of radar system.And system simulation model is established to validate its correctness.Finally,according to the indicators of radar syetem,digital signal processor and conditioning circuit are designed.Sampling of raadar echo signal is done through the AD converter.The target's velocity and distance is extracted by the digital processing of intermediate frequency signal.The actual functionality and performance testing of the entire system is also implemented.
