With the development of intelligent transportation,VANET(Vehicular Ad hoc Network)has become the focus of people's attention.VANET based on IP spends a lots of resources on the node mobility management,ICN(Information-Centric Networking)not only support node mobility in nature,but also can meet the growing demand for information.In addition,ICN supports the information security naturally by adding the signature and verification mechanism based on information itself,make the data more secure.The core work of this thesis is to study the data forwarding method in VANET based on ICN.In this thesis,a data forwarding method based on geographic location information is proposed.The proposed method uses the location information to reduce the unnecessary data forwarding by the nearby nodes,avoiding the waste of bandwidth.At the same time,it can reduce the number of data forwarding,which can reduce the time delay of data packets and improve the successful rate of the information request.In addition,the method also introduces Nonce table to eliminate the data forwarding caused by the same information request;and introduces the content table to make the forwarding of information request along a certain direction.Moreover,the proposed delay waiting curve,also improves the influence on the responded data path from the changes of network topology caused by the node mobility.The proposed scheme is validated on the ndnSIM simulation platform.The real street maps and node mobility model were generated by the OpenStreetMap and Urban Mobility Simulation tools,and the performance of the proposed method were tested in different network traffic and vehicle densities.Simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce significantly not only the unnecessary data forwarding and number of data forwarding hops in VANET,but also the round-trip delay of information request.The method can also increase the successful rate of information request.Besides,the successful rate of information request.
