With the growing popularity of home vehicles, the driver training industry develops rapidly. The driver training industry originally implemented extensive management. In this context, people knew little about the information of vehicles, coaches and trainers. As it was difficult to perceive the vehicle driving conditions, coach teaching status and student operation and all kinds of paper-like documents were stacked like a mountain, document query took a lot of time and efforts. With the continuous development of Internet of Things technologies and the upgrading of sensor technologies, the administrative departments and driving schools have a more scientific method of vehicle, coach and trainee management. The driver training management system based on Internet of Things technologies was designed and implemented in this paper. The system supports the whole business process of driving training and could effectively improve the management and public service level of the industry. Moreover, combined with a variety of Internet of things sensing and transmission technologies, such as speed, fuel consumption, direction, acceleration, temperature, GPS positioning, base station positioning, fingerprint identification, smart cards and cameras, the system could collect a variety of driving related data. Relying on the data, the system could carry out dynamic real-time monitoring on the vehicles and coaches. In this study, the purpose of system research was first introduced and the contents of the research were described. Secondly, the system functional requirements and non-system functional requirements are brought forward. Then the system design was completed, mainly including the design of GPS monitoring sub system and service management sub system, and the functions of each module were described in detail. In the end, the usability of the system was verified through the software tests and hardware tests.
