BGP Routing Stability Analysis Of IPv6 Network

With the depletion of IPv4 addresses,Networks speed up the transition to IPv6.The development of IPv6 is greatly accelerated.The measurement of IPv6 networks becomes a hot issue.But IPv6 network is still in its infancy.There are many uncertainties,which requires us to measure and analyze IPv6 network.However,as the network is more and more important.People routes for stability requirements are also increasing,which requires people to pay more attention to analyze the stability of the route.Previous IPv4 network for dynamic routing of research has been very extensive,but now the dynamics of routing measurement is still relatively small for the IPv6 network,but measuring IPv6 network routing stability is very important.Therefore,this paper analyzes BGP inter-domain routing stability of IPv6 network.Routing topology changes will affect the stability of the routing,we measured routing topology changes to reflect the stability of the routing.This paper proposes two algorithms to analyze the BGP update data of IPv6 network.1,classifying the update data,statistics the proportion of each category,analysis the change of the proportion of various categories from 2006 to 2014,according to the means of various categories,analysis of the development of IPv6 network condition and so on.2,according to the RIB information,drawing the AS topology.Comparing the change of AS topology at different moments.The rate of change of Topology reflects the stability of topology,the higher it changes,the routing topology is more unstable.Vice versa.according to the change from 2006 to 2015,analysis the stability of routing topology.This paper develops a BGP routing analysis system.It can automatically download update data from routeviews and ripe ris,update data parsing,preprocessing.Getting the update data we need.Then based on the analysis of the update data.Classifying the update data,using the data from RIB to build AS topology,calculating the rate of change of topology.According to these algorithms,we do a series of experiments,analysis the growth situation of IPv6 network,the development,and stability of BGP routing of IPv6 network.
