Design And Implementation Of Service Management Function For M2M Service Platform For Smart Community

M2M(Machine-to-Machine)technology has been applied to many fields of Internet of Things,but the market is fr-agmented.It is mainly because of the different needs of applications for the abilities and characteristics of devices.Some researchers begin to study the methods for service orientation for the function of various devices,which means devices provide functionality through a unified and general interface.This method should support not only the interaction between different types of devices but also the interaction between devices and traditional Web services,which should achieve seamless integration of the physical world and the virtual world.In order to achieve the goal,the M2M service platform should manage the devices which access in the platform from the perceptual layer and then open the extensible internet service for application layer.Therefore this paper studies on the service management function for M2M service platform in smart community fields.This paper designs and implements service management function for M2M service platform through conducting serveys on existing M2M service platforms and analyzing the functional architecture and application scene of the smart community service system,and finally completes good management for the M2M services for smart community.Service management function extract device resource-oriented device service and ability resource-oriented environment service based on the resource which is managed by M2M service platform and open the services.The services support applications in smart community field to access and control the environment of community and home in macroscopic perspective as well as the public device and privately-owned device in microscopic perspective via internet.The opening of service interfaces are extensible,which help realize the cross-platform collaboration of smart community and other fields.In the meantime,service management function also supports service discovery and authority management of service.This paper first introduces the research background of M2M service platform and related technology,and analyzes the functional requirements of service management function for M2M service platform for the application scene of smart community.Then,this paper decomposes and refines the requirements in three aspects:service discovery,authority management of service and opening service.On the basis of requirements analysis,this paper puts forward the overall design of M2M service management function of M2M service platform.In the overall design,the logical design of functional modules and the interactive process among modules are illustrated.Besides,the internet oriented RESTful interfaces and inner interfaces among functional modules are designed.All modules are designed in detail and functional prototypes are implemented after that.Finally,Fiddler tool is used to test and verify functional prototypes of service management.At the end of this paper,the design and implementation procedure is summarized,and the next step of research is raised.
