With the wireless network construction step by step and the number of users is growing, the number of mobile communication base stations increasing, which means that the base station power demand is growing. According to statistics in recent years of operation, mobile communication base stations and network room power consumption accounted for 60%-70% of total electricity consumption, only to improve base station energy consumption of the main aspects of energy efficiency in order to effectively improve the energy efficiency of the overall base station, thus achieving the energy-saving wireless communications networks, thus saving energy mobile communication base stations of mobile communication networks to achieve emission reduction targets of great significance. The main idea of this article:(1) After briefly introducing the definition of the base station, and base station form, the principle and direction for a more detailed basis, focusing on the composition of the base station power consumption, and saving and energy efficiency an important part of the logic model.(2) Describes the use of communication technology to optimize the energy-related basic knowledge, focused on analyzing the network level and device-level energy saving basic principles and applications.(3) Introduction to optimize energy efficiency in communications technology on the basis of further information on the non-communication technology, the basic energy-saving methods and measures, analysis of the availability and effectiveness of various methods.(4) Describes the basic principles of energy-saving base stations on the basis of a comprehensive energy conservation program is given, and to explore the evaluation of energy saving targets.
