A Gas Flowmeter Automatic Measurement System Based On PLC And Configuration Software

The gas flowmeter measurement system is an important equipment for theproduction and the examination of gas flowmeter. The traditional gas flowmetermeasurement system is difficult to maintain, manually operated. Measurement andcalibration of a single flowmeter is time-consuming.With the heavey workload, it has toa great extent hindered the rapid development of the gas flowmeter.Based on the above questions, after comparing and analysing the different flowmeasurement theories, the thesis has adopted the speed of sound spray nozzle flowmeasurement principle and designed the hardware and software of the flow examinationcontrol system. The entire control system is a hierarchy. Programmable logic ontroller(PLC) works as the first level, selecting SIMENS S7-200, with the scene relay,connecting directly with the instrument measuring applianc and gathering the field data,real-time controlling of the valve, finally adjusting the temperature PID and pressurePID. The second level is an industry PC. Its control software made by the kingview6.5,aiming for man-machine interaction, controlling process data surveillance, managementand record, with the test report by VBA-EXCEL.The entire control system of survey isbased on the PROFIBUS-DP technology and the OPC connection technology, whichrealized PC machine and the PLC communication.PLC and configuration software flowmeter automatic measurement system has theadvantages of single structure, high accuracy, easy maintenance, high automaticity,scalability etc. It can be widely applied to each kind of gas flowmeter measurement andcalibration and is a feasible solution to the gas flowmeter measurement and thecalibration efficiency.
