Industrial wireless network technology is becoming an innovation technology for reducing the cost of industrial measurement and extending the scope of application because of its low-cost,usability and maintainability characteristics.Wireless Network for Industrial Automation-Factory Automation(WIA-FA),developed by the lead of Shenyang Institute of Automation Chinese Academy of Science,has become the first IEC International Standard for high-speed factory automation applications.Although standardization of wireless network in factory automation and verification products in laboratory had made tremendous progress,can't completely replace the existing wired network at least in the short to medium term.PROFIBUS-DP as high-speed communication connection between automatic control system and device level distributed IO in traditional industrial wired network are widely used in China and around the world.Therefore,the PROFIBUS-DP integrated into WIA-FA as a research.Firstly,the background of industrial wireless network and the significance of this subject are briefly described,and introduced industrial wireless network technology and hybrid wireless/wired network technology.Then,proposed WIA-FA and PROFIBUS-DP interconnection network,based on the WIA-FA and PROFIBUS-DP protocol in-depth understanding and analysis,and expanded the communication process analysis and need analysis of interconnect gateway.In terms of design,after proposed the overall architecture of the interconnect gateway on the basis of need analysis,then detailed design the application layer of WIA-FA,PROFIBUS-DP Slave and protocol conversion.In the realization,first introduce the hardware platform,including:WIA-FA access point runed by Intel 2700 processor,TL-WN550G wireless card and Linux 2.6.26;PROFIBUS-DP slave make up STM32103R8T6 controller and VPC3+C protocol chip.Then on this platform for implementation,including:WIA-FA application layer include the development of user application process and application sub-layer;PROFIBUS-DP slave include the development of main program and interrupt program,and create a GSD file;the main work of protocol conversion is to design the serial port communication protocol between WIA-FA access point and PROFIBUS-DP,so WIA-FA side of the field device and the DP side of the module can be configured to perform data mapping and packet conversion.Finally,Interconnect gateway was tested and verified by the physical platform consist of STEP7 software,CP5611 card,interconnect gateway and field devices,the results show that the functionality and real-time performance of it can fully meet the requirement of industrial monitor and control.
