In the age of Internet which broadcast is increasingly replaced by mobile phones,TV,Internet and other mainstream media communications,Digital Radio Mondiale(DRM)still has certain advantages for its characteristics such as extreme distance transmission and simple system. This paper focuses on the implementation of Digital Radio Mondiale, and explores its application in medical signal transmission, which is of great significance for the disaster rescue. We do the following featured research work in this paper:1?The audio transmission function of DRM system is realized by software, and the related test is carried out.We design two test schemes of software and hardware, and conduct fundamental testing to the audio transmission functions of DRM.2?Using the transmission channel of DRM system, the transmission of data stream information is explored.Taking sine signal as an example,we design the data format suitable for channel transmission, and send the data into the DRM transmission system to generate the baseband signal. Then the data is received by the DRM receiving system and we conduct the correct sine signal transmission. On this basis, the ECG signal and medical images are transmitted through the design of data transmission format.3 ? The synchronization problem of OFDM system is discussed, and a time synchronization algorithm based on Golay complementary sequence pair is proposed.Based on the correlation properties of Golay complementary sequence pairs, the symbol timing synchronization is studied. The above work has a certain application value for the improvement of domestic broadcasting, the realization of digital amplitude modulation broadcasting, and the information transmission of post disaster relief work.
