With the more and more demand for the data transmission ,wideband wireless access has been the access technique that is developing the most quickly now. Making full use of the frequency resource, choosing high-efficient modulation mode and transmitting data at higher rate, are all the key techniques .This paper investigates single-carrier and multi-carrier high-speed data transmission. A wireless data transmission scheme used in radar system is presented for data rate as high as 20 Mbps- In the single-carrier scheme, a wideband programmable QAM demodulator -STV0297 is used to support quadrature demodulation , and a SCM is utilized for control by I2C bus. On the basal theory of QAM communication ,the paper also researches some key technology of digital single-carrier QAM demodulation, such as symbol synchronization , frequency synchronization and timing etc, to make the system performance optimization. In the multi-carrier scheme, this paper discusses the realization frame of OFDM system and some key technology of OFDM. Frequency synchronization and symbol synchronization are the keystones.
