A Probe Into Xinhua Net Data Journalism And Its Visualization In The Age Of Big Data

The development of big data technology has changed the external environment of news production,but also made the media endogenous factors of change have been released.In the context of big data technology,data journalism is a new type of news production,the core of which is data mining,analysis and visualization.Its appearance has changed the traditional news production process,has brought the news presentation way the transformation,is one of future news development direction.This paper summarizes the data visualization of news and its emergence and development,in order to carry out data earlier domestic news practice Xinhua net as an example,through the summary of data statistics,case analysis and characteristics,analyzes the exploration and practice of the mainstream media to Xinhua net as the representative of the data in the news field,provides some reference to innovation and for the future development of the news data.The study found,Xinhua net news journalism column in both in content and form,or in the data and presentation of news production process,have been very fruitful attempts and innovation,to create a brand of its own characteristics and advantages.However,compared with the news practice of foreign media,the practice of data journalism in China is still in its initial stage.Diversity of communication channels,the Internet communication environment in the discerning audience,how to make the Internet has characteristics,in line with the rules of communication,data show the value of news,the news works by the users,is still a problem worthy of study.This not only needs to strengthen the cooperation between industry and academia,but also need to explore and innovate in content selection,form innovation,datasources,interactive ways and personnel training.
