The sea is rich in mineral resources such as marine energy, marine drugs and oil and gas resources, which is of great significance to the survival and sustainable development of human beings. At present, six kinds of marine mineral resources have been discovered, and the discovery of hydrothermal mineral deposits has made a new understanding of the development and utilization of marine resources, and as the birthplace of the hydrothermal origin of life research, research of paleoceanography, seafloor spreading and plate tectonics study ,which is beneficial to the study of the marine field, geological field and other fields .But the working efficiency of modern marine exploration field is not high, especially for the detection of seafloor hydrothermal activity , how to effectively detect the seafloor hydrothermal solution is still a major problem in this field.In this paper, a method based on acoustic method is proposed to observe the nature of hydrothermal fluid. The first part of this paper is the theoretical part, which mainly studies the scattering characteristics, the resonance characteristics and the scattering cross section of the bubbles. This paper expounds the principle of the acoustic detection method of the hydrothermal solution,and demonstrates the advantages of the acoustic observation method compared with other methods. At the same time,this paper verifies the feasibility of acoustic method through the analysis of image sonar design parameters.This paper mainly uses the image sonar to observe the hydrothermal vent. sonar receives the echo signal of the receiving transducer through the bubble scattering. And then get the beamforming results of the signal and sector conversion through a series of algorithms of image sonar. The second part of paper mainly discusses the simulation and realization of algorithm of image sonar, including the implementation of the platform for the research of image sonar imaging algorithm theory and algorithm of image sonar hardware. the advantages of the DSP TMS320C6678 are analyzed, and the realization and optimization of the multi -core self - starting and multi - core algorithm are discussed. and then the related algorithm is simulated and the hardware platform is implemented.The last part of this paper is the experimental part, which is mainly used to verify the reliability and robustness of the algorithm of image sonar. The simulation experiment device of hydrothermal detection and the hydrothermal vent model is constructed at the same time.which verifies the feasibility and correctness of the acoustic method to detect the hydrothermal solution.
