Underwater acoustic sonar transmitter is an important part of the system. Advantages and disadvantages of sonar transmitter performance have a major impact on the entire sonar system. In this paper, the background of underwater acoustic is communication experiment,communication experiment use PSK signal. According to the requirement of system and specification of technique, design and implement of underwater acoustic communication transmitter.This paper describes in detail to the basic principles of PWM modulation technology,generation method, SPWM classification and sampling methods. SPWM modulation techniques and principles were simulated with Matlab.In-depth study of the drive circuit of the transmitter, the power amplifier circuit, the matching circuit for the principle. According underwater acoustic communication transmitter technical indicator, design and implement the schematic of underwater acoustic communication PWM modulation transmitter. And according to the schematic, draws the complete transmitter circuit board of PCB. Design and implement of underwater acoustic communication transmitter hardware circuit.In-depth study of the phase shift keying modulation, phase shift keying signal modulation and demodulation. Written transmit and receive signals test program with Matlab software, and make a communication test for the transmitter. Finally, statistical analysis of the frequency offset and phase offset of the system.In this paper, the design parameters of the transmitter were tested comprehensive,including the transmitter power, efficiency and sound source-level testing. Completed test the parameters of the transmitter and multiple communication system debugging. Finally,completed the two communication transmitter design and debugging. Meet the communication requirements of the project communicate with each other between two nodes.Verify that the transmitter meets design specifications, can be safe and stable work.
