With the rapid development of digital technology, research on highly efficient and stable digital acquisition device is important.Radar is a typical example of the application of digital technology. The radar signal acquisition and storage equipment provides significant material for the subsequent study of radar signal processing algorithms .So we design a acquisition and recording system which controls the radar signal acquisition process through the interactive interface .FPGA is the core of the system .This paper introduces the related digital acquisition products on this field and summarizes performance and technical indicators of the acquisition system.We Propose the Altera company's EP3C10E144C7 as the core of the overall program scheduling and control for radar image signal acquisition and recording device.This device can perform radar image signal acquisition and storage.The hardware part of the system includes a power supply circuit, AD sampling circuitry,signal conditioning circuits, PLL phase-locked loop circuit, isolation circuit, FPGA minimum system circuit, data cache circuit and PCI bus circuit. The main achievement of the hardware part is analog to digital conversion on the radar video echo signal, data cache, the sampling clock frequency adjustment and uploading the sampled data to PC .The system receives command issued by the user through the interactive interface which can set system sampling parameters according to the instruction .This system can transform the radar echo analog video signals into digital signals.The data can be uploaded to a computer hard drive through the dual-port RAM cache and the PCI bus.Thus realizing the radar image signal acquisition and storage.Developing human-machine interface applications on data acquisition system with LabWindows / CVI .System tests and the analyzed results can verify the performance of the sampling system which indicates that the system has a function of collecting and storing the radar video signal.
