With the accelerating development of today's society,it's more and more important to pay attention to the development of new energy and environment protection.It's the trend of times to vigorously advocate the use of new energy vehicles because of its advantage of saving energy and reducing emissions.Compared with the high attention of new energy design,the safety issues of electric vehicles including electric bicycles,cars and buses can hardly get concern.Spontaneous combustion is absolutely the most serious problem among all the safety issues when put into use.The core part of the electric vehicle is battery which will easily cause spontaneous combustion in ambient temperature and high humidity conditions.It's particularly prominent in the use of large scale charging device.However,it is ralative lack in protective device.Therefore,a design of electric vehicle charging protection system is presented basing on the Internet of things in this paper,in which the problem of intelligent protection in the process of large-scale battery charging can be solved effectively.Firstly,the analysis of research background and research significance is presented and the domestic and foreign research status of electric vehicle charging protection system are discussed here,which is the base of the battery charging protection system design concept.Secondly,The overall structure of IOT(Internet of Things)battery charging protection system is designed,including the overall architecture of battery charge protection networking design,the design of data acquisition node based on ZigBee and Internet of things,the design of the router nodes,the coordinator node and gateway node,and application layer monitoring terminal design.Furthermore,the selection of hardware circuit and chip is designed in this article for the battery charging protection system,including hardware design and selection of ZigBee network system which includes the coordinator and terminal node hardware circuit and gateway design,the coordinator is directly inserted in the gateway on the circuit board,the terminal node includes temperature,humidity and smoke acquisition module.CC2530 is selected as the main control chip of the coordinator and terminal node.STM32 series chip is selected as the main chip of the gateway circuit board,while SIM900 module is chosen as the communication module and transmits the relevant data to the application layer monitoring unit with the aid of GPRS.In the end of the paper,the software of charging protection system is designed and debugged.The programming environment of the software is IAR?Keil MDK and Visual Basic.IAR is the development tool of the embedded system,MDK is the programming software of the microcontroller.Embedded programming application is achieved in this article and Visual Basic is the visual programming language.The test results show that the remote intelligent monitoring and protection of the overheating and smoke in the process of battery charging can be realized in this system.The design of the TOT based electric vehicle battery charging protection system is a set of intelligent low energy consumption,high performance cost ratio feasible charging protection system and the problem of lack of intelligent protection system for large-scale electric vehicle charging can be solved with it.Therefore,higher application value can be seen in this subject.
