Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN)has been identified as one of the most prospective technologies of this century and has been applied in many ways.With the wide application of wireless sensor network,its security,reliability and privacy protection become more important.Because of its limited resources,human-unattended deployment and other characteristics,WSN's are very weak and therefore more vulnerable to attack.The main work of the thesis includes: first,on the basis of researching and analyzing the Enhanced Shock Burst(ESB)protocol and D-MAC protocol,these two protocols are effectively combined to design a more energy efficient ESB protocol used in n RF24L01 radio transceiver,in which some nodes of the network are put into hibernation to improve the efficiency of ESB protocol(The ESB protocol engine is embedded in n RF24L01 radio chip and is based on packet communication and supports various modes from manual operation to advanced autonomus protocol operation,this protocol engine reduces system cost by handling all the high-speed link layer operations).Then,in order to ensure the security of network communication is used an improved Tiny Encryption Algorithm(TEA),the specific improvement is that the key selection process is not in the encryption algorithm.The key used for encryption is different for every two nodes communication and this key changes all the time after communication with one node is done.The new key is generated randomly and just the nodes that communicate can know this key.Finally,the improved ESB protocol and TEA algorithm are applied to the intelligent home system based on wireless sensor network,and the system is realized by programming simulation.The experimental results show that the improved protocol and encryption algorithm can effectively improve the efficiency of the system.Also the TEA algorithm fits in the paper requirements because is a simple encryption algorithm which takes minimal space for encryption and less time to encrypt/decrypt the message.
