As in recent years, the rapid development of wireless communication and theenormous WSN application value, the increasing size of the network has become aninevitable development of wireless ad hoc network, how to save energy consumption tomaximize network life cycle design for WSN plays a vital role. MIMO is a multi-inputmulti-output structure, through the redundancy of the network, in order to select a singleantenna to form a virtual cluster head node and an array of clusters in the process of themechanism, the increase in energy consumption and energy channel problems areanalyzed, discussed WSN application in the field of capacity at the same advantages andcan significantly reduce the energy consumption of MIMO communicationstransmission technology.MIMO technology combined with hierarchical routing protocol for WSN research. In the cluster head node for effective data transmission to the Sink node process, traditional HEED protocol uses only a single hop communication or multi-hopcommunication using only a means of communication, resulting in inter-cluster headnode energy consumption of wireless communication with the base station is too largedrawbacks presented HEED agreement with single-hop transmission is based on thecombination of multi-hop M-HEED (Mixture-HEED) mixed transmission routingprotocol. The average shortest path based on the protocol and the maximum degree ofclustering characteristics, the single transfer mode is changed hybrid transmission, effectively extending the data transmission time, to avoid loss of communication causedbecause of the distance of each round. In the selection stage collaboration betweenclustering nodes, constructed a MIMO-based routing cooperative node selectionstrategy. MM-HEED algorithm to reduce the energy consumption of the policy fromthe perspective of the proposed setting is mainly based on the distance and the residualenergy of sensor nodes within a cluster of sensor nodes in the cluster communicationcost within a comprehensive consideration, select the divided region collaboration node.Between network nodes communicate using a collaborative approach for datatransmission, and as a basis to establish the source node to the destination node optimal path between. In order to achieve improved energy efficiency of wireless sensornetworks and extend the life of the destination network. Simulation results show thatthe algorithm performance in packet traffic, network load balancing, and other aspectsof network energy consumption better than HEED and MIMO-LEACH performance, thus extending the overall life of the network.
