The traditional Chinese interpersonal relationship pattern contains rich connotations of Circle culture, which constitutes the forming foundation of the interpersonal relationships in the social media.Supported by various social media platforms, the "circles" in the social media enable both strangers and familiar loved ones to build rich and colorful circles based on their shared demands or emotions.By studying these“circles” in the social media,we can clearly and intuitively examine the construction basis and other general situations of small groups. And it is also helpful for people to establish their own strong or weak relationships using the joint forces of their own and outside world, meanwhile have an insight into the circles' operating model by correctly understanding the forming conditions, communication process and social impact of the “circles” in the social media.Furthermore,to conduct a comprehensive and extensive discussion of the circles built by the social media,we can further interpret the circle relationships in the Chinese interpersonal communication. Therefore, starting from the connotations of Circle culture, this paper analyzes the internal and external environmental conditions of the circles in the social media on the basis of Joshua Meyrowitz's media scene theory and Gowffmann's framework theory. And taking the“5W”theory of communication as the breakthrough point,we also analyze the specific dissemination process of the social media circles and finally find the trends and tendencies of future circles by scanning the positive social impact and negative social impact brought by the whole social media circles in order to provide an imaginary space for the construction of circles in the social media.
