The application of Laser printer has broken through the traditional commercial office,and gradually enter the family,because of its fast print speed,low noise,high print quality and high cost-effective.In the process of the laser printer imaging,there are many factors,such as the machine vibration,equipment output accuracy,magnetic field gravitation when toner is transferred,inevitably leading to printing images with fuzzy,distortion and noise.In the process of producing laser printer equipment,in order to reduce the chance of unqualified products flowing into the market,it needs to analyze and evaluate the imaging quality of laser printers comprehensive.Therefore,the research on imaging quality assessment method of laser printer has an important practical value for protecting the imaging quality and producing quality of laser printer.Currently,researches on the imagine quality evaluation of laser printer mainly for the independent object such as the lines,dots,characters,area,images,etc.By analyzing the objective evaluation indexes of the image quality for laser printer and combining the subject evaluation,this paper constructs a model system of imaging quality evaluation based on support vector machine(SVM).Firstly,we design and acquire the test samples from the laser printer imaging,which including line and character,area,dot and image.Then,the quality of the laser printer is evaluated by different quality indexes,and the index values of those test sample are calculated.In this paper,the following quality evaluation indicators are selected,including line width error,roughness,ambiguity and darkness of lines and characters,gray standard deviation,granularity and patch of field area,roundness error of the dot and structural similarity,clarity,texture information of the image.Finally,the subjective evaluation of grade classification is carried out to evaluating the samples,and the relationship model between the objective quality indexes and the subjective evaluation results are established by SVM to evaluate the imaging quality of laser printer synthetically.In this paper,the key indexes that influence the imaging quality of the laser printer are determined by the research and analysis,and the quality indexes are classified by the machine learning method to obtain the laser printer imaging quality evaluation model.The experimental results show that the proposed model is effective and feasible for the comprehensive evaluation of the imaging quality for laser printers.
