Customer label management system is an online marketing supporting system developed for the business marketing people of telecommunication operators. The business marketing people analyze the consuming and business characters of the existing and potential customers and create different labels for different characters and attributes. The labels have effects after being approved. Different strategies and telecommunication products are made according to the labels.Testing of customer label management system is essential to ensure and improve the quality of the project. The testing job can be divided into four stages which are unit test, integration test, system test and acceptance test.Function test of system test is a basic test and is a process that tests whether every function of customer label management system meets the needs described in the requirements specification. In the function test, there are a few methods to design effective test cases. This article designs some test cases for label creating module using equivalence class method and boundary value method and redundant cases are also pointed out. It lists all the event flows of customer label management system and creates event driven test cases. By analyzing test case coverage scale, it comes to a conclusion that combining the three test case design methods reaches the biggest test case coverage scale.Performance test with the help of LoadRunner tests every performance figure set in the requirements specification of customer label management system effectively. This article analyzes performance figures for customer label management system and creates scene models according to those performance figures. It also designs test cases for login module and label management module. LoadRunner creates 25 virtual users to use the system concurrently. The result indicates the response time of login is too long to achieve the performance goal and the system needs to be improved.
