Research On Automatic Test System Of Radio Frequency Module Of Beidou Navigation Terminal

Beidou satellite navigation is an independent research by China which provided development for our country navigation system of navigation and positioning services. In the beidou satellite navigation system, Rf module components, as an important part of the navigation terminal, affects the navigation system transmitting and receiving directly, as a result,the requirements of the indicators of the rf module is very strict. Rf module index is mainly refers to the channel gain, input and output of standing wave ratio, noise figure,intermediate frequency 3dB bandwidth, transmission power, etc. To guarantee the work of the rf module is normal and the operation of the whole navigation terminal is normal,these indicators' values must accord with the requirement of regulations. So, how to make the rf test and index accurately, quickly and efficiently become a problem that needs to be further researched urgently.To solve the problem of measuring rf module rapidly and efficiently, this paper studies the research of beidou navigation terminal rf module automatic test system. To improve efficiency and reduce human thoughts which affects the accuracy of testing, this paper is developed by using VB software and the GPIB automatic testing system which is based on spectrometer. This system mainly measures some indicators of rf module, these indicators are the sending and receiving part of the big dipper for testing, due to the limited space, only studies the part of channel sections and amplifiers which is enough for testing with spectrometer. The automatic test system mainly introduces the overall scheme design and respectively introduces the hardware structures and software part of the test platform of module partition, etc. After the automatic test system design and calibration work is completed, these indicators will be evaluated using the method of manual and automatic. Comparing the test results,sums up the advantages of automatic test system,and improvement the scheme.This paper takes the rf module of hebei JingHe electronic company for the object to be tested, which is independent research by hebei JingHe electronic company. This automatic test system verified practicability and reliability and saved the manpower and material resources, has value in social and research.
