Laboratories in the universities and enterprises,which serve as “bridgehead” of national science and technology innovation strategy and birthplace of various new technology,spring up along with country and people's increasing demand for high and new technology.Laboratories built by universities and enterprises are both core strength to implement innovation driven development strategy and improve national science and technology competitive advantage.However,with the great development of the science and technology innovation laboratory,various accidents,which should have been avoided,have caused considerable casualties and property damage.Therefore,construction of safety facilities equipped for laboratories are especially important,including monitoring dangerous gas.Besides,most dangerous gases are colorless and undetectable,requiring intelligent monitoring systems for gas environment to ensure the safety.At present,existing monitoring system for gas environment in laboratories are mostly cable network monitoring system equipped with outdated management system.The system,with messy wiring installation,low node intelligence and poor maintainability and extensibility,is difficult to view data and manage the system.Monitoring systems for gas environment realize real-time detection of gas environment through the wireless sensor network,aided by intelligent management system and corresponding alarm system.It is new direction of innovative application to ensure safety production for enterprises.In this paper,design of intelligent monitoring system for gas environment in laboratories is study object.The whole construction of system is driven by new Internet of things.The system is designed by sensor technology,short-range wireless communication technology and data processing technology,which are based on Internet of Things,on the Microsoft.NET platform.Gas environment in laboratories are inspired by the system,including flammable and poisonous gases.Sensor node can collect data,process information and transmit information wirelessly.The system's host computer software will use a data fusion method to analyze data collected by low-level and show analysis results on WPF(Windows Presentation Foundation)desktop application by a friendly way.To achieve the purposes of intellectually monitoring gas environment,the system will inform the user of the danger and prompt the danger zone first time when there is accident,such as leakage of flammable and poisonous gas.Therefore,main tasks of the system is to collect sensor node data in time and improve data's readability in the process of data processing and presentation.
