Research On Quality Management Of SKS Software Upgrade Project Based On CMMI

Today's society is a highly informational and networked society,in which more and more systems have reliance on software.The normal function of society depends on the normal function of software,while the abnormal functioning of software may lead to a disastrous influence to the networked society.Poor quality software has a greater potential hazard and may break down at any time,which will cause serious trouble;besides,since software products need to be maintained frequently,if the a software product is with poor quality or unqualified,it will surely cause a high maintenance cost.Furthermore,the importance of a system to a city and the importance of a software to a system will both determine the severity of the consequences of software quality directly,thus,the higher the importance of the software is,the worse impact of its quality problems will be.So the quality control of software should be taken seriously in software project management,which means we should not only understand the Importance of quality,but also realize the Cost of quality.It should firstly develop an idea of software quality management,then establish a set of quality management system,and structure the quality management organization and implement the measures of quality management,quality assurance and quality control accordingly.In this instance,from the viewpoint of project quality management,this paper discusses the systematic quality management of SKS software upgrading project based on the particularity of software project,the current quality situation of SKS system upgrading project,the quality management thought based on software life cycle and the maturity model of CMMI software capacity.This paper first describes the research background,significance and main research route of software project quality management.Then it summarizes the related theories of software quality management,including what software is,the particularity and importance of software projects,the procedure of software quality management etc.,and briefly introduces the CMMI model and the relevant quality management study.Thirdly,combining with SKS software upgrade project features,it analyzes the quality problems existing in SKS software project and the factors which might influence the quality problem.Fourthly,it set up the CMMI quality management model on the basis of SKS software project,and implement quality management on SKS project through the measures of demand management,configuration management,process,quality assurance and control.Lastly,with the analysis of questionnaire investigation,it approves the CMMI quality management is effective,and the measures of quality management and control have decreased successfully the rates of defect in software development and improve the quality of software.
