Transmission network is the basis of telecommunication network,and it is the bearing platform of the information expressway.With the rapid development of new services and business acceleration,we must constantly improve our capacity of long haul backbone transmission network to meet the demand of network construction and market development,especially.Dense wavelength division multiplexing technology makes full use of the huge bandwidth resources of optical fiber,which greatly improves the system transmission capacity.As the most effective and economic means,it has been used in mass use in China Mobile,C hina Unicom,C hina Telecom.It has been put into use,from the earliest introduction of 8*2.5G,40*10G application system,to the long haul backbone networks of 80*40G DWDM system.The bandwidth between major nodes has reached hundreds of Gbit/s even more than 1Tbit/s.In the future,the physical network bearing layer will be designed based on DWDM,including the long haul backbone network,metropolitan area network and access convergence layer,low rate systems will sink to access convergence layer sinking.This dissertation firstly summarizes the DWDM,which is the theoretical foundation for the following contents.Then,the basic principles of O LP,OMSP,OCHP,artificial protection,and the specific application in the telecommunication network are elaborated.In addition,the comparative analysis of the second plane in different optical multiplex sections with the use of channels;according to the SDH network,the DCN network and other new business to the fifth plane system of different particles of the new needs to be summarized,analysis the reasons of the requirements.After that,the fifth plane design and implementation of Hebei Unicom's network is deeply studied,the analysis of the DWDM and SDH system configuration,the OLA and OTM node station configuration,network management,test condition before operation,etc..Finally,the application of OMSP in the fifth plane,network optimization and routine maintenance are analyzed.At present,the fifth plane DWDM equipment has been put into use and runs well,and it is able to enhance the system capacity of provincial network in Hebei Unicom,improve the business flexibility and network security,and meet the needs of business development in the current and several years.
