With the promotion of network convergence and the fierce market competition,radio and television network company to carry out the business data,basic and value-added telecommunications services become possible,and we need to develop new services in order to enhance the experience and adhesiveness of Users.Under this background,the construction and development of the visual call service is a novel and challenging job.This paper is mainly about the design and implementation of the front-end system construction and terminal integration scheme of the digital TV visual call service.First of all,we analyzed the background of video communication and the technology of IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem),then we selected the related technology to carry out this program by the comprehensive consideration of three aspects including the core network exchange platform,network transmission platform and terminal equipment platform,of course we also did it by thinking about the existing situation of Tianjin.On this basis,through the deployment of IMS core network and the combination of the existing network,we did some work from the bandwidth,QoS,security and other aspects,and we got the design of the front-end system construction for visual call service.Based on the core protocol of IMS,we studied the hardware performance parameters and software architecture of the set-top box.Then,the terminal integration scheme were designed,and we made the set-top box to achieve the visual call function with the help of terminal manufacturers.At the end,this paper makes a summary of the business building,and proposes the next work plan,and looks into the future value of the business.
