Highway Facilities Management Based On GIS Design And Implementation Of The System

With the rapid development of transportation industry in Tianjin,highway density then expands continuously,the traffic governing departments of city and districts treat the management of highway facilities more seriously,the data investigation of highway facilities' situation,is a necessary channel we can learn how good the road facilities are,due to the great amount of facilities which need maintenance and the limit of person,the survey data is still not accurate enough to judge how good the road facilities are,the ability of facilities maintenance,service and so on do not reach the designated position,in order to solve this problem,the project team designs and develops the highway facilities management system.Firstly,this paper puts forward the perfect combination of business data and spatial data,which let the traffic governing departments manage the transportation network more efficient and convenient,use the resources more reasonable,the system can clearly show the the national and provincial roads' route information,provide the traffic governing departments of clear,objective facts,provide convenience for their management.Secondly,puts forward the data checking automation,where data errors can be automatically identified and processed,provides the administrator with error alarm,causes of error,modification suggestions,reduce the workload of data modification,reduce the error of manual operation.Finally,put forward the data processing automation,can automatically delete the redundant point and pseudo node,automatically delete the broken line and empty notes,encoding scattered text,modified from the auxiliary splicing intersection line and back line,auxiliary closed polygon edges so,reduce the workload of data processing for data processing personnel,improve the accuracy of data processing.Highway facilities management system provides a convenient way of working to highway facility management department.System achieves the function of highway facilities' data update and maintenance,periodic detection and the results management of technical status evaluate,realize the effective supervision of highway.After a half-year of commissioning,the system operating normally,without any major accidents.
