Abstract:In recent years, intelligent video surveillance appeared in the field of computer vision. Compared with traditional video surveillance which need special security person to monitor the video, the intelligent system can remind timely and accurately when the abnormal situation occurs. In addition, with the development of embedded technology, designed an remote intelligent video surveillance system with network functionality has a broad application prospects, and have an important role in promoting the development and promotion of intelligent video surveillance.Around the network video monitoring system with intelligent alarm functions, this paper researched the motion detection algorithm on embedded hardware platform, and achieve a remote intelligent video surveillance system using the improved algorithms on embedded Linux. Details are as follows:①Briefly describe the current status of intelligent video surveillance, based on several algorithms in the field of motion detection, meanwhile realize methods of several algorithms,and compare the results of these methods.Taking into the particularity of the embedded platform, this paper finished the motion detection by combining the background subtraction method with multi-Gaussian background model.Combined with OpenCV image processing library, achieved the moving target detection. This paper realized several motion detection algorithm in embedded Linux system, compared and analyzed the results meanwhile;②Achieved the building of development environment on embedded platform. Including the hardware platform, the transplantation of Bootloader and the Linux kernel, the production of root file system, and the Linux driver programming, cross-compiler environment building, as well as the transplantation of OpenCV;③Design the architecture of the whole system and sub-functional modules. Realized modules like video capture, video parameter control, photograph, recording, and alarm function in embedded Linux;④Achieved the remote access and control function, build the Web server using the HTTP protocol, HTML, JavaScript and socket.realized the data interaction int Web client and Web server;The system in this paper comes from a actual project in a company. This paper focused on the design and implementation of the intelligent video surveillance. When moving target appears, the system in this paper will trigger the alarm behavior, therefore, with a certain degree of intelligence,so it has broad engineering application value.
